Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Delacruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastian Delacruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Rogan!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rogan dives in and scores a takedown into Delacruz's guard.
Rogan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Rogan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Delacruz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rogan passes into half guard.
Rogan controlling the pace.

Rogan is looking for a kimura here.
Delacruz tries to get to full guard but Rogan has control of the leg.
Rogan wants to pass to mount but Delacruz is defending the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rogan prevents Delacruz from standing back up.
Delacruz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rogan on the ground.

Rogan is looking to advance position but Delacruz won't allow it.

Delacruz wants to improve his position but Rogan is controlling well.
Rogan slips a nice elbow through Delacruz's hands, connecting with Delacruz's forehead.
Well, if Rogan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Delacruz wants to get back to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rogan wants to pass the guard but Delacruz is defending well.
Rogan keeps trying to improve his position.
Delacruz tries to roll over but Rogan keeps him under control.
Rogan performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Delacruz looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rogan has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rogan controlling the position easily from mount.

Delacruz is in all sorts of trouble here.
Delacruz wants to try and get back to his feet.
Rogan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Let's hope that Rogan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Delacruz is trying desperately to improve position.
Rogan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Delacruz is desperately trying to improve his position but Rogan has a good base and remains in mount.

Rogan pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Rogan looking to control and managing it successfully.
Delacruz tries to lock up and control but Rogan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rogan controlling the position easily from mount.

Rogan has control of Delacruz's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Delacruz regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rogan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Delacruz forces Rogan back against the cage and clinches.
Rogan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Delacruz walks away with a smile on his face. Rogan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Rogan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rogan lands in his opponent's guard.
Rogan tries to free his leg and advance position but Delacruz is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Delacruz looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rogan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Delacruz's guard.
Rogan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Rogan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Delacruz has left one of his arms exposed and Rogan doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Delacruz screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
