Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fahad Al Qarni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sinbad Baba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Al Qarni's entrance music is Hells Bells. A fine choice. Baba has chosen King of Seven Seas as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fahad Al Qarni! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sinbad Baba! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Al Qarni swinging wildly here.
Baba misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Baba. Al Qarni does a little dance to reset his feet. Al Qarni scores with a hook. Baba throws an overhand right that lands on Al Qarni's shoulder, as Al Qarni tries to avoid the shot. Al Qarni throws a big counter combination but Baba scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Baba misses with a double jab.
Al Qarni scores with a sloppy right hand. Baba should have avoided that one. Nice body punch from Baba. Baba lands with a cross. Good standup being displayed there by Al Qarni as he connects with a hook. Al Qarni throws a series of punches but Baba avoids them all with ease. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baba keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Al Qarni. Baba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Al Qarni misses with a double jab
and Baba counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A head kick misses from Baba. Al Qarni keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Baba swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Al Qarni cracks Baba with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baba scores with a jab to the body. Al Qarni feints and as Baba raises his hands in defense, Al Qarni changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Al Qarni sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Baba's guard. Al Qarni thows a huge punch but Baba dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baba looks like he's trying to stand up.
Al Qarni is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Baba sees it coming and defends easily. Al Qarni is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Al Qarni looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Al Qarni trying to control the action but Baba is working from the bottom. Baba wants to get back to his feet. Al Qarni is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Al Qarni is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Baba has managed to free his arm - good work. Al Qarni seems to be looking for submissions.
Al Qarni is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Baba sees it coming and defends easily. Baba works his way to full guard. Good work. Al Qarni pushing down on Baba's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Baba is refusing to be controlled, as Al Qarni sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Al Qarni thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Baba's head. Al Qarni sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Baba defending well though. Al Qarni seems to be working for a kimura but Baba defends the submission attempt. Baba is defending against the submission attempts here by Al Qarni.

Al Qarni working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fahad Al Qarni dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Baba lands with a shot to the body. Al Qarni walks into a left hand. Al Qarni throws a jab but it's blocked by Baba. A little jabbing left from Baba on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Baba scores with a jab to the head.
Al Qarni bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Al Qarni goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Baba rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Al Qarni's guard! Nice work there by Baba! Al Qarni looking to hit a scissor sweep but Baba is one step ahead there. Fahad Al Qarni overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Al Qarni is working hard here to advance position. Al Qarni escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Baba gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Baba looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Baba stopping the sweep attempt from Al Qarni. Baba postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Al Qarni has his foot on Baba's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Baba works his way back into a safe position though. Al Qarni looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Baba is defending well. Al Qarni quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Baba has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Al Qarni celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Fahad Al Qarni! Fahad Al Qarni retains his welterweight title! During a confident post fight interview, Fahad Al Qarni thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
