Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Paul Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Loiseau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Paul Fish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry Loiseau!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish's jab looks to have found its range, popping Loiseau under the eye.
Loiseau misses with a takedown attempt
and Fish cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Loiseau looks to score with a jab to the body but Fish is just out of range.
Fish with a nice cross.
Loiseau throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Loiseau misses with an uppercut. Fish saw that one coming.
Fish throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Loiseau swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Loiseau scores with a shot to the body.
Fish closes this distance looking for a takedown but Loiseau circles away.
Fish darts in looking for a takedown but Loiseau gets double underhooks and turns Fish into the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Loiseau shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fish is trying to defend but Loiseau finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Fish has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Fish takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Fish takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jon Paul Fish will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Loiseau tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fish avoids it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fish creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Loiseau is trying to drag Fish to the mat but Fish just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Loiseau has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fish avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

It looked like Fish was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Loiseau.

Fish regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Loiseau.
Fish pulls Loiseau in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fish wants to sweep but no luck.

Fish escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Loiseau gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fish pushes Loiseau off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Fish throws an overhand right that lands on Loiseau's shoulder, as Loiseau tries to avoid the shot.

Loiseau was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Fish throws the kick towards the body but Loiseau avoids it.

Loiseau lands an elbow that stopped Fish in his tracks for a moment.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Loiseau is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Loiseau creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Loiseau gets underhooks to prevent Fish's takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jon Paul Fish.
I think Fish has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
