PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Priebcko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Priebcko comes to the cage accompanied by Sweet Dreams. Simon Phoenix told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Priebcko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Phoenix has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Phoenix and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Priebcko scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Phoenix doesn't seem bothered though.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Priebcko here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Phoenix unleashes a big counter combination but Priebcko bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Phoenix gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Priebcko gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
