Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka darts in trying to clinch
and Papadopoulos counters with a head kick.
Papadopoulos shoots in but no luck this time.
A good leg kick by Papadopoulos.
Sloppy strikes from Boyka. Those never looked like landing.
Boyka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Papadopoulos.
A left lands for Boyka.
Boyka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Papadopoulos.
Nice sprawl there from Papadopoulos as Boyka shoots in.
Papadopoulos keeps the fight on the outside.
Boyka moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Papadopoulos scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Boyka manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Papadopoulos keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Papadopoulos has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Boyka is trying to keep an underhook but Papadopoulos manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Boyka kicks Papadopoulos off and gets back to his feet.

Boyka forces Papadopoulos back against the cage and clinches.

Boyka throws a big elbow that misses.

Boyka decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Papadopoulos, up you get!
Papadopoulos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boyka's jab looks to have found its range, popping Papadopoulos under the eye.
Boyka closes the distance and clinches.
Boyka is trying to push Papadopoulos away but Papadopoulos has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Boyka as Papadopoulos tries to tie him up.
Papadopoulos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Boyka smiles and moves away.
Yuri Boyka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boyka lands a slapping body shot.
Boyka fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Papadopoulos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Boyka lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Boyka fails to land the takedown.
Boyka tries to close the distance and clinch but Papadopoulos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boyka bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Papadopoulos's head backwards.
Papadopoulos is rocked!
Boyka pounces like a tiger and cracks Papadopoulos with a vicious hook! Papadopoulos is down but not out! Boyka follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Yuri Boyka!
