Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Carson West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sun Ra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ra has chosen Space is the place by Sun Ra as his entrance music. Sun Ra is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carson West! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sun Ra! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! West looks to throw the jab but Ra is out of range. West works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Ra tries to clinch up but West circles away and keeps his distance. West moves into the clinch. Ra lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Ra struggles to land a body shot inside as West controls his hands.
West putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Ra in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Ra tries to throw a body punch but West avoids it by throwing Ra back against the cage. West blocking some punches.
Ra takes a knee to the side of the body. Still in the clinch, West scores with a nice short uppercut. Ra is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. West tries to land knees in the clinch but Ra avoids the damage to the body. Ra lands with a right to the head. Ra misses with a hook to the ribs.
West lands a knee to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action! A right hook to the body lands for West.
Ra looks winded! Ra blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. West landing knees to the body.
West tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ra avoids it. Ra tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. West lands a hook that snaps the head of Ra backwards. West comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Still in the clinch, West scores with a nice short uppercut. Ra throws a punch but it's blocked by West. West lands a nice elbow. An uppercut to the body lands inside from West. Ra misses with a hook from the clinch. West lands a left hand.
Ra wants to stall.
West crunches a lovely knee into Ra's ribcage. West softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. West breaks from the clinch.
Ra takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fight moves into the clinch position. A nice right hand lands inside from West. West misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ra.
Ra swings wildly with an uppercut but West uses good head movement to avoid it. West landing some nice looking knees to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ra avoiding damage as West throws knees to the body.
West lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. West landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
West lands with a short head shot on the inside. West blocking some punches.
A short right from West on the inside. West gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Nice elbow from West. Ra has a couple of punches blocked by West.
West breaks from the clinch.
Ra fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ra closes the distance but West moves to the side and West cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. West moves out of range of the body kick from Ra.
Ra tries to clinch up enabling West to counter with a crisp jab. Ra tries to clinch and West counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ra is rocked! Ra closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. West lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ra backwards. Ra is still on wobbly legs! Can West finish him? West has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Ra to the canvas! Can Ra beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's waved off the fight! He didn't think Ra was in a fit state to continue so this fight is over! West is your winner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Carson West!
