Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zero Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane has chosen Jesus Built My Hotrod as his entrance music. Zero Hero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zero Hero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 23 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, John McClane! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hero closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That has opened up John McClane's cut even more. Hero throws a right and a left that both miss. McClane swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McClane.
Hero stuns McClane with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. McClane catches Hero with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! McClane misses with a body shot.
McClane jabbing away but nothing is landing. McClane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hero. McClane misses with a low kick. McClane waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hero. Hero ducks right into an uppercut from McClane. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hero drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Hero avoids a punch combination nicely.
John McClane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hero fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Hero displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McClane throws out the jab. As McClane backs away, Hero returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Hero looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hero throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hero walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hero looking to land some kicks to the body here.
No joy there for Hero, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice body punch from McClane. Hero scores with a slapping inside leg kick. McClane with a nice cross. Hero uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McClane. Hero takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hero avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Hero throws a head kick that misses and McClane counters with a nice leg kick. McClane changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. McClane lands with a thumping leg kick.
McClane walks into a stiff left hand from Hero. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McClane on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The cut above John McClane's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Hero pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McClane only half commits to the counter leg kick. Hero fakes the leg kick and cracks McClane in the body. McClane lands the left hand. Hero closes the distance and pushes McClane back into the cage. McClane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McClane avoids the body shot from Hero.
McClane throws a chopping leg kick but Hero manages to avoid taking any serious damage. McClane lands a head shot. Hero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McClane manages to avoid it. McClane cracks a nice hook into Hero's ribs. McClane works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. McClane is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hero had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Hero takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. McClane misses with a jab, cross combination.
McClane misses with a wild body shot. Hero connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. McClane throws a series of punches but Hero moves out of range. Hero displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McClane throws out the jab. Hero tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McClane paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hero eats them both and turns towards McClane to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Hero gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Hero. McClane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hero looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Hero lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Hero misses with a body shot
and McClane counters with a nice body kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McClane throws a hook to the side of Hero's head but Hero sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hero tries to counter by clinching up but McClane breaks away and moves out of range. McClane scores with a leg kick.
McClane staying out of range there. McClane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hero lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McClane has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McClane and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. McClane is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. McClane goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Hero darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
John McClane's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hero on the wrong end of a nice jab. Hero walks into a jab. McClane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hero feints a jab promting McClane to slip. Hero then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McClane slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at John McClane's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Zero Hero! Zero Hero decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. In defeat, John McClane stepped up to the mic, saying 'Dingy dingy son of a gun...'.
