Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quessey gets a double leg takedown into Day's guard.
Day uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A combination from Quessey does no damage.
Quessey closes the distance and pushes Day back into the cage.
Quessey is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Day can't fight it off and eventually Quessey manages to take the fight to the floor. Day looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Day might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Day has an active guard here but Quessey has managed to pass into half guard.
Quessey drops an elbow to the side of Day's head.
Day is trying to control but Quessey manages to pass to mount!
Day keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Quessey landing strikes from the mount and Day is in trouble!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Day is desperately trying to improve his position but Quessey has a good base and remains in mount.
Day is breathing heavily.
Quessey controlling from mount.
Quessey fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Day is trying to escape the mount.
Quessey takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
A big strike lands for Quessey! That's really hurt Day and he's turned his back - Quessey keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Quessey jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pierre Quessey!
