The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Minskiy defends well and Da Silva ends up having to push Minskiy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Minskiy throws a right and a left that Da Silva avoids nicely.
It looked like Da Silva was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Minskiy connects with the punch.
Nakamura Minskiy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Da Silva counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Minskiy! He's just covering up as Da Silva starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
