The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nutz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Curry moves away.
Curry throws the kick towards the body but Nutz avoids it.
Nutz looks for the body kick but Curry saw that one coming.
Curry tries to counter by clinching up but Nutz breaks away and moves out of range.
Tony Nutz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nutz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Curry sprawls well initially but Nutz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gaylord Curry.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Curry, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
