Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyndon Blackwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Fingers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lyndon Blackwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Fingers! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blackwell darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fingers punching from the bottom.
Fingers trying to control but Blackwell postures up.
Blackwell stands up from half guard. Blackwell really is a fat lump. Blackwell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Blackwell takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Blackwell is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Blackwell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fingers with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Blackwell working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blackwell prevents Fingers from improving his position. Fingers trying to hold on to Blackwell's head to control him but Blackwell postures up.
Blackwell decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fingers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blackwell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Blackwell appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Blackwell swats away the attempt to clinch by Fingers. Blackwell just misses with a punch to the body.
Fingers fails with a takedown attempt. Blackwell moves into range and clinches up with Fingers. Blackwell keeps control of Fingers as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Blackwell is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fingers can't fight it off and eventually Blackwell manages to take the fight to the floor. Fingers looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fingers has his feet on Blackwell's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fingers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fingers misses with a body kick. Fingers sends Blackwell crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fingers is motioning to the referee to let Blackwell up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Blackwell is rocked!
It looks like Lyndon Blackwell has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fingers lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Blackwell up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Fingers from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Blackwell's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Fingers!
