Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamar Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Tuomioja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuomioja has chosen The boys are back in town as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jamar Alexander! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Benjamin Tuomioja! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexander keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tuomioja pushes Alexander up against the cage in a clinch. Tuomioja jumps guard but Alexander stands there with Tuomioja around his waist. Tuomioja gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tuomioja tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jamar Alexander has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benjamin Tuomioja. Tuomioja looks winded! Tuomioja managing to block the knees to the body from Alexander.
Alexander tries to land knees in the clinch but Tuomioja avoids the damage to the body. Tuomioja fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Tuomioja working hard to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alexander pulls guard. Alexander looking for a sweep. Not yet Alexander, not yet. Alexander really is a fat lump. Alexander has his foot on Tuomioja's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tuomioja works his way back into a safe position though. Tuomioja stopping the sweep attempt from Alexander.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tuomioja is fighting to break Alexander's control of his arms but Alexander is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Tuomioja drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Alexander manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tuomioja has Alexander in his guard. Alexander is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Tuomioja wants to sweep here but Alexander controlling him for the moment. Alexander working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Alexander working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tuomioja's head. Alexander sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Alexander seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tuomioja for as long as he can get away with. Alexander cracks Tuomioja with a solid left hand. Alexander's corner is telling him to maintain position. Alexander makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Alexander engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Benjamin Tuomioja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alexander clinches. Alexander tries to break free but Tuomioja pushes him back against the cage. Tuomioja breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tuomioja has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tuomioja blocks an uppercut.
Tuomioja's coach down at MMA Sanok Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tuomioja's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Tuomioja takes a shot to the head. Alexander is trying to break free. Alexander content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Tuomioja escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tuomioja rushes Alexander and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tuomioja struggles to land a body shot inside as Alexander controls his hands.
Tuomioja tries to pull guard but Alexander won't allow it.

Alexander's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Alexander darts in and clinches Tuomioja up against the cage. Alexander has Tuomioja pushed against the cage. Alexander lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tuomioja backwards. Alexander manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alexander lands a decent shot there. Tuomioja must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tuomioja takes a decent strike to the side of the head. Tuomioja looking to sit in guard and control but Alexander gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Alexander not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamar Alexander dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tuomioja gets in close and instigates a clinch. Alexander slowing the pace effectively. Come on Alexander - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Alexander seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Tuomioja tries to pull guard but Alexander forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Alexander fails to pull guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tuomioja wants to stand but Alexander is controlling his posture from full guard. Tuomioja is breathing heavily.

Alexander has momentary wrist control but Tuomioja slips an elbow through the middle. Alexander keeping moving, preventing Tuomioja from controlling successfully. Alexander is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Alexander controls Tuomioja momentarily but Tuomioja frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Tuomioja takes the fight into the clinch. Alexander avoiding damage.
Alexander tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tuomioja just stands there and leans against the cage. Tuomioja breaks from the clinch.
Tuomioja shoots in but Alexander avoids the takedown attempt easily. Alexander is looking for a counter combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alexander slips a jab and a cross from Tuomioja.
Alexander drives through and clinches with Tuomioja against the cage.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Tuomioja tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Alexander smiles and moves away.
Tuomioja fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alexander manages to avoid it. Alexander bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Alexander takes a little break here. Tuomioja wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Alexander lands an elbow. Tuomioja is trying to control Alexander's posture but Alexander avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tuomioja seems a little lost for a moment, as Alexander dominates the positioning. Tuomioja tries to improve position but can't. Alexander controls the position from side control. Alexander is working Tuomioja over with some ground and pound from side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Alexander controls the position. Tuomioja on the wrong end of some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamar Alexander dominated that second round. That's time! Alexander's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Alexander tries to clinch but Tuomioja moves out of range. Alexander gets in close and instigates a clinch. Tuomioja manages to break the clinch.
Tuomioja tries to keep at a distance but Alexander has taken the fight into the clinch. Tuomioja is looking to control Alexander's arms but Alexander gets an underhook and turns him. Now Tuomioja has his back to the cage. Alexander decides to pull guard. Tuomioja got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alexander has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tuomioja has managed to get both his arms back between Alexander's legs - danger averted. Tuomioja stands up and waves to Alexander to follow him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tuomioja shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alexander pinned against the cage. Alexander gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tuomioja takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alexander has Tuomioja up against the cage in a clinch.
Alexander jumps guard and drags Tuomioja to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Alexander is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Alexander landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Alexander slows the pace down in half guard. Nice strikes from Alexander there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alexander perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Alexander has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Alexander is nestled in close to Tuomioja, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Alexander looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Tuomioja tries to kick Alexander off but Alexander keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Alexander is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Alexander working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alexander looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tuomioja with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Alexander lands with a punch from half guard. Alexander takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Tuomioja has hold of Alexander's hands but Alexander slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Alexander content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Alexander has managed to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alexander misses with a knee to the head. Tuomioja on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Tuomioja misses with a punch to the body.
Tuomioja takes an elbow to the forehead. Tuomioja avoiding damage as Alexander throws knees to the body.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Tuomioja misses with a punch on the inside.
Benjamin Tuomioja has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Alexander pulls guard. Alexander might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Alexander is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jamar Alexander is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. And that's the end of the fight! Jamar Alexander showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Alexander, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
