Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Dundee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurly Kanga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dundee comes into the arena with Wake Me Up In a Land Down Under blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bruce Dundee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kurly Kanga!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanga shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dundee counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Kurly Kanga has been cut.
Dundee scores with a jab. Kanga acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kanga fails with the takedown
and Dundee moves into the clinch.
Dundee gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Kanga can't get the takedown.
Bruce Dundee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurly Kanga.
Kanga tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dundee smiles and moves away.
Dundee seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Dundee connects with a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dundee steps into range and cracks Kanga with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Kanga flops backwards and Dundee dives into his guard looking to finish!
Kanga is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dundee postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dundee throws a big elbow that misses.
Dundee stands up over Kanga, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kanga is still in real trouble! Can Dundee finish him?
Dundee gets to his feet and stands over Kanga, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Kanga felt that one! Dundee unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Kanga from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Dundee!
