Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shivananda Ganeshalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shivananda Ganeshalo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Ganeshalo counters with a single leg into guard. Vega didn't expect that.
Ganeshalo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Vega wants to stand and escape but Ganeshalo is having none of it.
Vega utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Ganeshalo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Vega haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ganeshalo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
A telegraphed right hand from Ganeshalo misses the target.
Vega thuds a left hand into Ganeshalo's body.
Vega throws a sloppy head kick and Ganeshalo moves out of range easily.
Vega shoots for a takedown but Ganeshalo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Vega misses with a takedown attempt - Ganeshalo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Vega bucks up and tries to throw Ganeshalo off but instead Ganeshalo has got his back!

Ganeshalo lands a good shot there. Vega covers up! Ganeshalo smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Vega to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Ganeshalo jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
