Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joulu Pukki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lambo Gallardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallardo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
We've been hearing reports that Pukki has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Gallardo wants to clinch up but Pukki keeps it at a distance.

Pukki manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gallardo on his heels. He'll look to pass Gallardo's guard now, I'm sure.

Gallardo is looking for a sweep. Pukki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Gallardo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Pukki shoots in looking for a takedown. Gallardo tries to sprawl out of it but Pukki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Gallardo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pukki shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Pukki looks to score with a jab to the body but Gallardo is just out of range.
Pukki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gallardo but Gallardo pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Gallardo counters with a nice right hand that sends Pukki toppling to the canvas! Pukki scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gallardo finish him?!

It looks like Joulu Pukki has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pukki showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gallardo.
Pukki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gallardo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pukki somewhat.

Gallardo cracks Pukki with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gallardo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pukki to stand back up!

Pukki is rocked!
Gallardo catches Pukki with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Pukki forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
