0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Smurf Bunga! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bigovich keeps the fight on the outside. Bunga doesn't manage to clinch there - Bigovich circles away.
Bigovich has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Bigovich tries for a takedown but Bunga circles away easily and Bunga counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bunga scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Bunga is looking to clinch but Bigovich is avoiding it.
Bunga lunges at Bigovich with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bigovich's hand. Bigovich really is a fat lump.

Bunga throws a right and a left that Bigovich avoids nicely. Bunga is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bunga wants to clinch. Bunga is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Bigovich clinches with his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bunga escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bigovich keeps the fight on the outside. Bunga is looking to clinch. Bunga wants to clinch up but Bigovich keeps it at a distance. Bunga tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bigovich swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bigovich shoots in looking for a takedown. Bunga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guy Bigovich. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Bigovich moves into the clinch. Bunga lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bigovich backwards. Bigovich manages to pull guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bigovich is on top in guard.
Bigovich content to stall in guard here. Bigovich thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bunga wants to get back to his feet but Bigovich is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bigovich controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bigovich's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Smurf Bunga dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bigovich walks into a jab. Bigovich has a takedown stuffed. Bunga throws a counter combo. Bigovich takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Bigovich swats away the attempt to clinch by Bunga. Bigovich is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Bunga. Bunga has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bigovich needs to keep his hands up - Bunga had a free shot at his head there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bunga tries to clinch up. Bigovich swats away the attempt to clinch by Bunga. Bigovich scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bunga is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bigovich controlling the pace. Bigovich is working for a kimura but Bunga is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bigovich is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bigovich is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bigovich is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bunga is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Guy Bigovich! Guy Bigovich decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
