The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanzetti misses with the combination.
Woods swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Vanzetti throws a head kick but Woods moves out of range.
Vanzetti connects with the punch.
Sacco Vanzetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vanzetti pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Woods throws a counter combo.
Vanzetti connects with a looping right hand.
Vanzetti throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A combination from Vanzetti does no damage.
Woods steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Vanzetti.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Woods chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vanzetti can pounce on him.

Vanzetti throws a looping overhand right but Woods ducks down to avoid it.
Woods is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Sacco Vanzetti has been cut.

Vanzetti loads up on a big right hand but Woods slips the punch.
Vanzetti lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Woods throws a good cross that connects.
Vanzetti is rocked!
Vanzetti throws a body shot but no joy.
Oh Vanzetti is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A left and a right from Vanzetti both land. Nice combination.
Vanzetti seems to have got his legs back now.
Vanzetti looks to land a combination but Woods avoids it well.
Woods looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Vanzetti throws a sloppy head kick and Woods moves out of range easily.
Woods swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vanzetti throws a left and a right that both miss
and Woods scores with a counter punch that sends Vanzetti to the canvas! Woods smells blood - he's punishing Vanzetti with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Vanzetti has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Carl Woods bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
