The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cutting staying out of range there.
Tights clobbers Cutting with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Tights thows a left - swing and a miss!
An attempted straight right counter from Cutting misses the target.
Cutting takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cutting looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tights tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cutting was well out of range. Poor timing from Tights.
A little feinted left hand from Cutting on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Cutting throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cutting uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tights.
Cutting ducks under a wild hook from Tights.
Tights moves away from the strike by Cutting.
Cutting lunges at Tights with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tights's hand.
Cutting dips to his left and cracks Tights with an uppercut!
We've been informed that Tights has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
The fighters circling - Cutting throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Cutting lands a jab to Tights's midsection.
Tights walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cutting throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tights tries to counter with a clinch but Cutting shakes him off and moves away.

Cutting is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tights sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Cutting paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A punch lands to the side of Cutting 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pimbo Tights is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tights jabbing away but nothing is landing.
As Tights backs away, Cutting returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Pimbo Tights seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tights feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cutting sprawling to the canvas! Cutting rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tights finish him?!

Cutting is rocked!
Tights digs a good body shot into Cutting's ribs.
Oh Cutting is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tights fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cutting manages to avoid it.

Tights has closed the distance and engaged Cutting in a clinch.
Tights is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cutting is defending well for now.

Cutting seems to have got his legs back now.
Tights doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Cutting has a couple of punches blocked by Tights.

Tights prevents Cutting from breaking the clinch.
Tights goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tights using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Cutting is breathing heavily.
Tights lands an elbow just above Cutting 's eye.

Tights comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Tights lands a big knee! That's hurt Cutting! Oh, he's all over the place! Tights lands another knee that sends Cutting to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!

A relieved looking Pimbo Tights thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
