Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Terrence Mitchell!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luiz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mitchell avoids it really well and circles away.
Luiz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mitchell stuffs the takedown.
Luiz shoots in for a double leg but Mitchell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fernando Luiz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mitchell closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Luiz did well to prevent Mitchell getting side control.
Mitchell seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Luiz is looking for a sweep. Mitchell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mitchell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Mitchell works his way into side control.
Mitchell stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Mitchell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mitchell dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Luiz. That did some damage!
Luiz tries for a takedown but Mitchell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mitchell feints the counter takedown.
Luiz avoids the head kick by Mitchell.
A lazy left from Mitchell finds it's target.
It looks like Fernando Luiz has been cut.
Luiz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mitchell but Mitchell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mitchell tries to counter by closing the distance.
Mitchell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mitchell in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Luiz is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
