The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helm connects with a jab.
Tuomiola has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Helm finds it's way round the side to connect with Tuomiola's head.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tuomiola has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Tuomiola tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Helm was well out of range. Poor timing from Tuomiola.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Helm cracks Tuomiola with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Tuomiola tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Helm pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Tuomiola is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
