The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nielsen fails with the takedown.
Nielsen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bent Nielsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nielsen gets caught flat footed, as Emperor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Emperor trying to control the position from guard on top but Nielsen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nielsen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Nielsen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Emperor stacks Nielsen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Emperor!
Emperor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Emperor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nielsen uses from the top position.

Emperor has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Nielsen doesn't defend quickly enough and Emperor has managed to lock this one up! Can Nielsen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Emperor on a fantastic submission victory.
