Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Ignacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Ignacio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeremy Hughes! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Hughes with that takedown attempt. Ignacio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ignacio wants to clinch and Hughes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Hughes shoots for a double leg takedown but Ignacio sprawls well. He's pushed Hughes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hughes is defended easily by Ignacio. Ryan Ignacio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Hughes. Ignacio misses with a combination
and Hughes counters by clinching up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ignacio tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Hughes successfully pulls guard.
Hughes pulls Ignacio in to control the position. Ignacio drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hughes dives on top into guard. Hughes stops Ignacio from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ignacio wants to sweep but no luck. Ignacio looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hughes puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Ignacio wants to get back to his feet. Ignacio might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ignacio missing with punches from the bottom.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hughes prevents Ignacio from improving his position. Hughes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Hughes perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hughes is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hughes stands up out of the half guard. Ignacio really is a fat lump. Hughes closes the distance and pushes Ignacio back into the cage. A frustrated look appears on Ignacio's face as he tries to break the clinch. Hughes pulls guard successfully.
Ignacio tries to stand but Hughes is controlling from the bottom. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hughes holds on and takes a little breather. Hughes is continuing to stall. Hughes lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Hughes controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Hughes has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Hughes works over Ignacio with some ground and pound from guard. Hughes decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ignacio, up you get! A combination from Ignacio does no damage. Hughes pushes Ignacio up against the cage in a clinch. Hughes pressing his opponent against the cage. Hughes is pressed up against the cage. Ignacio has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hughes down to the mat. Hughes avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ignacio looks to land a combination but Hughes avoids it well. Ignacio tries to clinch there but Hughes circles away.
Ignacio backing away here, and Hughes unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Hughes clinches up against the cage. Ignacio is looking to break free of the clinch but Hughes has double underhooks. Hughes is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Hughes jumps into guard, dragging Ignacio to the mat.
Hughes pushes a forearm under Ignacio's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ignacio is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
