Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sol Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francesco Barraca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francesco Barraca will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sol Love! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Francesco Barraca! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Love drives through with a takedown into Barraca's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Love is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Love seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Barraca for as long as he can get away with. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Barraca can do anything to dispel that myth. Barraca utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Love slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barraca is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Love dives into side control.
Love remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Barraca fails in his attempt to clinch. Love appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Barraca tries to clinch up but Love circles away and keeps his distance. Barraca tries to clinch and Love counters with a single leg into guard. Barraca didn't expect that. Barraca wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Love manages to pass to side control. Ground and pound from Love.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Love thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Barraca's head. Love sitting and controlling from the half guard. Love missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barraca wants to get back to his feet. Love looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Barraca with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Love really is a fat lump. Love prevents Barraca from standing back up.
Love maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Barraca could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Love has cracked it and Barraca is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Love!
