And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Junior Macarenco!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cocacola feints and as Macarenco raises his hands in defense, Cocacola changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cocacola gets to his feet. Macarenco looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Nice sprawl there from Macarenco as Cocacola shoots in.
Macarenco avoids the head kick by Cocacola.
A swing and a miss from Cocacola.
Macarenco shoots in for a double leg but Cocacola sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Macarenco fails with the takedown

and Cocacola counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Macarenco!
Macarenco gets back to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Macarenco is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Cocacola pulls his head out easily.
Macarenco is looking for a sweep. Cocacola is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Still in half guard, Cocacola seems content to control.

Cocacola gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Cocacola throws a hook to the side of Macarenco's head but Macarenco sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Benny Cocacola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cocacola throws a lazy right hand but Macarenco sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cocacola will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A nice inside leg kick there by Cocacola. That's going to slow Macarenco down.

Macarenco stuffs the takedown.
Cocacola connects with a body shot.
Cocacola moves in looking to clinch but Macarenco pushes him off.
Cocacola throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cocacola thows a body shot but no joy.
Macarenco fails with the takedown

and Cocacola decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Macarenco's guard.
Benny Cocacola has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Macarenco.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Macarenco swats away the attempt to clinch by Cocacola.

Cocacola is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Macarenco looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Cocacola avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Cocacola stands up from Macarenco's guard - Cocacola perhaps looking for a knockout.
Cocacola tries to clinch but Macarenco moves out of range.
Macarenco ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Cocacola lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A big right from Cocacola misses.
No luck for Cocacola with that takedown attempt.
Cocacola throws the left hand but Macarenco avoids the punch easily.
Benny Cocacola is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Good work by Macarenco as he checks the leg kick.
Macarenco shoots and misses
enabling Cocacola to counter with a crisp jab.
Macarenco gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cocacola counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Cocacola bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Macarenco is looking to regain half guard here but Cocacola keeps moving and retains side control.

Macarenco is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cocacola's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Cocacola keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Macarenco actively working from the bottom here.

Cocacola decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Cocacola misses with an uppercut. Macarenco saw that one coming.
Macarenco walks into a jab.
Macarenco looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cocacola is fending him off so far but Macarenco persists. Nope, Cocacola circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Cocacola tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Macarenco swivels and escapes.
Cocacola throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Macarenco.
Cocacola tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Macarenco paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Macarenco bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Macarenco looks for a takedown but Cocacola sprawls well.
Macarenco shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cocacola but Cocacola pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cocacola tries to pass the half guard into mount. Macarenco knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Benny Cocacola overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cocacola passes the guard and advances to mount!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Macarenco is trying to escape the mount.

Macarenco tries to improve his position but Cocacola has taken his back! Cocacola has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Macarenco tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Cocacola pushes Macarenco away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
