Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andri Gunawan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Vincent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunawan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vincent's head backwards.
Vincent takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gunawan slips a straight right by Vincent.

Vincent lands a jab-cross combination.
Vincent has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vincent there as he acknowledges the shot.
Vincent scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gunawan in his tracks.
Vincent moves forwards but Gunawan connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Vincent's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gunawan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vincent scrambles back to his feet.

Sloppy strikes from Vincent. Those never looked like landing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vincent gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gunawan.
Gunawan pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Vincent throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Gunawan's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Vincent dives in looking to finish as Gunawan flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Vincent's strikes! Vincent is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Gunawan's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Gunawan was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hugo Vincent!
