Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gigi Giorgio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dong Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim has chosen Day of Wrath as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gigi Giorgio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dong Kim! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim shoots in looking for a takedown. Giorgio tries to sprawl out of it but Kim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Giorgio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Giorgio scores with a push kick. Giorgio definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Giorgio with a jab. Kim bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Giorgio bucks up and tries to throw Kim off but instead Kim has got his back! Kim looking for the choke but no joy. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Giorgio looking very determined here, making life difficult for Kim.
Giorgio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kim on the ground. Kim keeps control of the position as Giorgio tries to break free.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim scores with strikes from the back.
Kim is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Giorgio defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Kim is punishing Giorgio with strikes - can he finish him?! Kim avoiding Giorgio 's attempts to control his hands. Kim patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Kim is not going to allow Giorgio to sit and survive in this position. Giorgio is trying to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim wants to control but Giorgio is keeping busy. Kim is looking for the choke from the back position but Giorgio is controlling his hands well. Giorgio trying to control the hands but Kim won't let him. Kim lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
This has been an exciting period of action! Kim is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Giorgio has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Giorgio tries to escape but Kim has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Kim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kim connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Giorgio to escape the position.
Giorgio is taking damage to the body and head. Kim is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Giorgio defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Kim looking to break Giorgio's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Giorgio remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kim will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim looking for the RNC. Kim is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Giorgio defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Kim throws strikes from the back but Giorgio rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Giorgio. Kim postures up and lands a big shot to Giorgio's brow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kim works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kim slips a nice elbow through Giorgio's hands, connecting with Giorgio's forehead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Giorgio trying to hold on to Kim's head to control him but Kim postures up.
Kim stalling away here and it's allowed Giorgio to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Kim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Giorgio swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kim is looking to work some ground and pound but Giorgio has wrist control. Kim is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Giorgio utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kim passes Giorgio's left leg - he's now in half guard. Kim not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dong Kim dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Giorgio leaves Kim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. As Kim tries to get set, Giorgio tries to push him back and clinch up but Kim manages to avoid the attempt. Kim takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Kim clinches. Giorgio lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Kim is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Giorgio is pressed up against the cage. Kim has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Giorgio down to the mat. Giorgio avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Gigi Giorgio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dong Kim. Kim shoots and misses and Giorgio counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A slapping body kick lands there for Giorgio. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kim wants a takedown but no success here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kim has gone for a leg lock! Giorgio slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kim's guard. Kim has a closed guard, preventing Giorgio from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Giorgio stands up and waves to Kim to follow him. Kim throws a body punch but Giorgio moves out of range. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kim. Kim has a takedown stuffed. Giorgio is looking to counter the offense by Kim and move into the clinch. Giorgio keeps the fight on the outside. Giorgio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Giorgio fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kim has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Giorgio changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Kim keeps the fight on the outside. Kim shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Giorgio's guard. Giorgio is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Kim presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Giorgio lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Giorgio lands with a light punch inside. Kim gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Giorgio regains guard.
Kim is breathing heavily. Kim tries to free his leg and advance position but Giorgio is retaining full guard. Giorgio seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Giorgio looking for a sweep. Not yet Giorgio, not yet. Kim distracts Giorgio with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kim working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Kim is pushing down on Giorgio's leg trying to pass to half guard. Giorgio is fighting to maintain full guard but Kim has managed to sneak the leg through. Giorgio makes his way to full guard, as Kim worked for a kimura.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Giorgio avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Giorgio keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully. Kim throws a big right hand that misses. Kim looking to pass the guard. Kim is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Giorgio keeping full guard, as Kim tries to pass. Kim is looking to work some ground and pound but Giorgio has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kim throws an elbow that misses. Giorgio uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kim's guard. Nice move by Giorgio! Kim is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kim manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Giorgio manages to get himself to full guard.
Kim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Giorgio swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Giorgio looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kim is one step ahead there. Giorgio has momentary wrist control but Kim slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gigi Giorgio dominated that second round. That's time! Giorgio's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Giorgio connects with a solid leg kick. Kim moves in looking to clinch but Giorgio pushes him off. Kim fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Giorgio sprawls well initially but Kim persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kim trying to mount his opponent but Giorgio defends it. Kim takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kim thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Giorgio's head. Kim lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Kim is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Giorgio doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kim. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Giorgio sees it coming and defends easily. Kim works his way into full mount! Kim is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Giorgio can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kim with the ground and pound from mount. Kim landing strikes, looking to finish! Kim goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Giorgio is on top in guard.
Giorgio has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kim keeping moving, preventing Giorgio from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kim is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kim is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Kim is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Giorgio defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim thows a huge punch but Giorgio dodges it nicely.

Giorgio blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kim. Dong Kim has got the better of the ground game so far. Kim is nestled in close to Giorgio, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kim lands with a punch from half guard. Kim seems to be working for a kimura but Giorgio defends the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim is looking to advance position but Giorgio won't allow it. Kim trying to control the action but Giorgio is working from the bottom. Kim misses with a head shot. Giorgio uses the momentum to regain guard. Kim throws a big elbow that misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kim lands a couple of decent looking shots. Kim wants to pass the guard but Giorgio is keeping the position. Kim wants to control from the top but Giorgio keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Dong Kim comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kim has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
