And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plouman dives in and scores a takedown into Altair's guard.
Plouman trying to control but Altair is working from the bottom.
Plouman pushing down on Altair's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Plouman is looking to advance position but Altair won't allow it.
Altair keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Plouman not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Plouman is looking for a kimura here.
Plouman trying to mount his opponent but Altair defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plouman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Plouman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Altair trying to control but Plouman postures up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Plouman is trying to control the action in half guard but Altair is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Plouman misses with a takedown attempt
and Altair counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Plouman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Plouman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Altair pinned against the cage. Altair gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Altair changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Plouman takes one to the side of the head.
Plouman has his takedown stuffed
and Plouman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chael Plouman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Plouman moves out of range as Altair strikes.
Plouman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Altair counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Altair connects with a body shot.
Plouman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Plouman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Altair counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Plouman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Altair throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Plouman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Plouman needs to keep his hands up - Altair had a free shot at his head there.
Altair throws a nice outside leg kick.
Plouman takes one on the button.
Altair is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Plouman rather than just go for the knockout.
Plouman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Plouman is rocked!
Altair has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Plouman glances at the clock... BAM! Altair nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Plouman crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Plouman is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
