Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snoop Lion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lion has chosen Let The Bodies Hit The Floor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Diego Brandao has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Lion does no damage.
Brandao comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lion looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Brandao tries to kick Lion off but Lion keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Brandao avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lion.
Lion has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lion is working for an americana but Brandao has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Lion was thinking about the submission.
Brandao wants to stand and escape but Lion is having none of it.
Lion throwing strikes from guard but Brandao blocks nicely.

Lion is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brandao is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brandao has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Brandao is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lion is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brandao defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lion manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brandao manages to get himself to full guard.
Lion loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Brandao throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lion sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Diego Brandao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brandao darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lion is looking to clinch.

Brandao is pressed up against the cage. Lion has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brandao down to the mat. Brandao avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lion tries to close the distance and clinch but Brandao swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Lion fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brandao leaves Lion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brandao is looking for a counter combo.

Brandao is working Lion over against the cage.
Brandao fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Brandao misses with a punch to the body.
Brandao is trying to maintain a safe position but Lion gets an underhook and turns Brandao into the cage.
A short body shot lands from Brandao as the two fighters clinch.
Lion is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Brandao to keep the fight standing.
Lion has Brandao pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Brandao manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Brandao digs a right hand underneath Lion's ribcage. Lion let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Lion is trying to drag Brandao to the mat but Brandao just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brandao is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Lion gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Brandao gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
