The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone avoids a kick to the body.
Kozlov tries to clinch there but Stone circles away.
Kozlov shoots for a double leg takedown but Stone sprawls well. He's pushed Kozlov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stone shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kozlov's guard.

and Kozlov counters with a head kick. That will keep Stone thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Stone is breathing heavily.
Kozlov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Stone wants to stand and escape but Kozlov is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Steve Stone will probably get the nod.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stone postures up in Kozlov's guard and throws a big left but Kozlov blocks it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Steve Stone.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stone, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
