The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson gets caught flat footed, as Kocur shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kocur seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hanson has his foot on Kocur's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kocur works his way back into a safe position though.
Kocur stays in close to Hanson's body and controls the position.
Kocur throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Hanson looking for a guillotine here but Kocur defends easily.
Hanson working for submissions but it's allowed Kocur to get to half guard.
Hanson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hanson has hold of Kocur's hands but Kocur slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Kocur seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hanson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
