Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gilbert De La Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eliasson throws a shot from downtown. De La Cruz moves away and avoids it.
De La Cruz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Eliasson was covering up waiting for the punch and De La Cruz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Eliasson keeping moving, preventing De La Cruz from controlling successfully.
De La Cruz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De La Cruz drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says De La Cruz as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Eliasson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with De La Cruz! Nice submission victory there!
