Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nicky Sutton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tristan Ming!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ming throws a half hearted mid kick.
Sutton fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

and Ming counters by moving into the clinch.

Ming ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ming no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Ming is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ming wants to stand and escape but Sutton is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ming decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sutton is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ming scores with a couple of nice shots.

Ming lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Ming winds up and cracks Sutton with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Ming lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Sutton! More strikes land and this one is all over! Ming jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
