Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Borg Cloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Child (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Child has chosen VooDoo as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Borg Cloud! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Child! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cloud scores with a shot to the body.
Child thows a left - swing and a miss! Cloud shoots in for a takedown but Child shows good takedown defense. Child takes a swing at Cloud's ribcage but misses. Child throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Child is looking to clinch but Cloud is avoiding it.
Cloud blocks the body kick.
Child darts in and clinches Cloud up against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Child - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Cloud has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Child uses from the top position. Child is fighting to break Cloud's control of his arms but Cloud is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Child postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cloud trying to keep a closed guard but Child is proving a slippery customer.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Child has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Child misses with a low kick.

Child throws the left hand but Cloud avoids the punch easily. Cloud ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Cloud checks the leg kick nicely there.

Child swings wildly with an uppercut but Cloud uses good head movement to avoid it. A nice left hand lands by Child.

Cloud takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Child loads up on a big right hand but Cloud slips the punch. Child throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Cloud fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Borg Cloud. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight stays on the outside here - Child looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Child misses with a body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Child darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Child doesn't manage to clinch there - Cloud circles away.
Cloud connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Child momentarily.
Child scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cloud in his tracks. Child smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Child pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cloud tries to score a power double leg takedown but Child sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cloud somewhat. Cloud throws a body punch but Child moves out of range. Cloud tries to work over Child's front leg with a kick but Child checks it. Cloud checks a low kick from Child. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Child throws a series of punches but Cloud moves out of range. Child thows a left - swing and a miss! Cloud drops down looking for a counter takedown but Child sprawls and moves away. Marcus Child seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slow jab from Cloud misses its intended target. Cloud fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Child moves out of range of the strikes. A jab from Child finds it's way through Cloud's defenses. Child tries to land a front kick but Cloud steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Child throws a body kick that misses. Cloud takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cloud lands a right hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Child dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Child tries to clinch but Cloud is having none of it. Cloud appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Cloud fails with a takedown attempt. A punch lands to the side of Cloud 's head but he takes it in his stride. Child instigates a clinch. Child misses with an elbow strike.
Child has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Cloud is looking to control Child's arms but Child gets an underhook and turns him. Now Cloud has his back to the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Child.

Child looks to land a body kick but Cloud moved away. Marcus Child seems to be getting the better of the standup. Child shoots in looking for a takedown. Cloud tries to sprawl out of it but Child keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cloud manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Child looks to land a combination but Cloud avoids it well. Cloud appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Child throws a head kick that misses. Child cracks Cloud with a good jab. Cloud throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cloud with a hook. Child is looking to clinch. Child thows a left - swing and a miss! Cloud fires out a quick counter leg kick but Child just manages to avoid it. A solid leg kick lands there for Child.

Cloud lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Child throws a jab when Cloud was well out of range. Child displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cloud throws out the jab. Child closes the distance and clinches. I was talking to Cloud's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A head punch blocked on the inside by Cloud. This has been an exciting period of action! Child manages to break the clinch.

Cloud moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Cloud digs a good body shot into Child's ribs. Child looks to score with a jab to the body but Cloud is just out of range. Child throws a right and a left that Cloud avoids nicely. Cloud swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Child looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Child lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Child has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cloud moves out of range of the strikes. Child is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Child darts in and clinches Cloud up against the cage. Cloud managing to block the knees to the body from Child.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Cloud takes an elbow to the temple. Cloud manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Child won't allow Cloud to sweep him here. Cloud controls Child momentarily but Child frees himself. Child trying to control but Cloud is working from the bottom. Child got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cloud has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Child has managed to get both his arms back between Cloud's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cloud tries to land a sweep but no joy. Child wants to control from the top but Cloud keeps moving. Child would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Cloud working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Child doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Child manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cloud looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Child trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Child engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Child passes into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Child showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Cloud's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Cloud fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Child lands an elbow inside. Cloud looks to throw an elbow but misses. Child blocks a body shot from Cloud. Still in the clinch, Child scores with a nice short uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Child misses with a short punch on the inside. A frustrated look appears on Cloud's face as he tries to break the clinch. Child lands a knee to the body.

Child is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Cloud rolls with it to try and escape but Child cranks on the arm and Cloud is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Marcus Child! After winning the bout, Marcus Child thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
