Shaw is in Doyles's guard. Doyles pulls Shaw in close to his closed guard and prevents Shaw from doing any damage or advancing position. Shaw has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Doyles bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shaw's guard.
Shaw will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Doyles is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Shaw throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Doyles works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Doyles has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Shaw doesn't defend quickly enough and Doyles has managed to lock this one up! Can Shaw escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Doyles on a fantastic submission victory.
