Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeremy Sullivan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kiko Machine! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sullivan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Jeremy Sullivan has been cut. Sullivan dodges the punch combination from Machine.
Sullivan attempts a counter takedown but Machine avoids it well and moves away. Machine scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Machine lands a slapping body shot.
Machine misses with the combination.
Kiko Machine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Machine fails to land with a series of punches.

Machine lands the left hand. A lazy left from Machine finds it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sullivan's head backwards. Sullivan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Decent striking displayed by Machine there. Machine feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sullivans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Sullivan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Machine drives through with a takedown into guard. Sullivan seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Machine pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sullivan is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Machine trying to control the position from guard on top but Sullivan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sullivan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Machine doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Machine manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sullivan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Machine landing some decent shots from guard. Machine throws a big elbow that misses. Sullivan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Machine. Machine chips away with some ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sullivan is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machine trying to control the position here. Sullivan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Machine is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sullivan, into his guard. Machine postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. That's four minutes gone in the round. Machine sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sullivan's guard. Sullivan tries to get to full guard but Machine has control of the leg. Machine working over Sullivan with some ground and pound. Sullivan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Sullivan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Machine pulls his head out easily. Machine missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Machine wants to take a breather but Sullivan is having none of it. Machine looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Machine is looking to stall here but Sullivan recovers full guard. Machine trying to control the position from guard on top but Sullivan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Machine postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kiko Machine dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jeremy Sullivan's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Machine drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Machine landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Machine wants to control but Sullivan is keeping him busy. Sullivan manages to work his way to half guard, despite Machine's best efforts. Sullivan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Sullivan is trying to keep Machine in close.

Sullivan stopping the sweep attempt from Machine. Sullivan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Machine looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Machine looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Machine!
Machine has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Machine wants to control for a moment but Sullivan uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Kiko Machine has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sullivan is staying active underneath Machine, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sullivan is pressing down on Machine's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Machine cracks Sullivan with a solid left hand. Sullivan keeping moving, preventing Machine from controlling successfully. Sullivan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Machine manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sullivan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Machine gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sullivan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Machine avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Machine lands a couple of decent looking shots. Machine is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Machine is working Sullivan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Machine trying to control but Sullivan is working from the bottom. Sullivan is looking to cinch up a triangle. Machine throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sullivan's body to avoid the submission. Sullivan has instead reached around Machine's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sullivan arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
