The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuznetsov scores with a hook.
It looks like Wyatt Barton has been cut.
Kuznetsov misses with a series of wild punches.
Barton tries to counter with a takedown but Kuznetsov is quick to defend against it.
Kuznetsov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kuznetsov.
Kuznetsov tries to bum rush Barton with a series of wild strikes but Barton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kuznetsov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barton feinted with a counter takedown.
Kuznetsov works over Barton's head and body with a nice combination.
Kuznetsov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kuznetsov goes for a small jab and connects. Now Kuznetsov goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Barton stumbles back but Kuznetsov runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Barton to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Barton will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ivan Kuznetsov!
In his post fight interview, Ivan Kuznetsov gave a big smile as he said 'Thanks God!'.
