Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Huan Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Matthias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Saint Matthias!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthias gets tackled into the cage by Rodrigues. Rodrigues maintains the clinch.
Matthias is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rodrigues is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Matthias to the mat. Matthias regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Matthias is trying to keep Rodrigues in close.
Rodrigues drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rodrigues jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rodrigues controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Rodrigues pushes down on Matthias's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Matthias is looking to control Rodrigues's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Matthias avoid being mounted?
Matthias really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rodrigues. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Still in half guard, Rodrigues seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Matthias has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rodrigues is working away from the top position though.
Rodrigues is controlling the pace.
Rodrigues escapes and gets back to his feet.
Huan Rodrigues seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodrigues closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rodrigues decides to pull guard.
Rodrigues really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rodrigues holds on and takes a little breather.
Rodrigues looking for a triangle here. Matthias is fighting it but it looks tight! Rodrigues pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Matthias is tapping out - this one is all over!
