Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Alan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alan has chosen Fucking Hostile by Pantera as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Levi King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Alan!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alan swivels and escapes.
King walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Alan throws a series of punches but King avoids them all with ease.
Alan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Alan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
King is looking to clinch.
King wants to clinch up but Alan keeps it at a distance.
Nice takedown defense from Alan. No joy for King on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Levi King. That's going to take a lot out of him.
King looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
King tries for a takedown but Alan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
King tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jab by King.
King is looking to clinch.
King misses with a head kick.

King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alan pinned against the cage. Alan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
King has a takedown stuffed.
King misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

King changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Alan is trying to control King's posture but King avoids it.
King tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

King lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Alan down.
King misses with the ground and pound.
Alan is trying to buck King off.
King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alan keeps working.

King wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alan, who protects the arm well.
The strikes coming from King are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Alan is trying to get back to his feet.

King swings around for an armbar but Alan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into King's guard.
King throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

King is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
King looking to hit a scissor sweep but Alan is one step ahead there.
King is working hard here to advance position.
Alan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Alan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now King is on top in guard.
King slips nicely into half guard.
Alan pushes King off looking to stand but King dives back in and keeps control.
Alan is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, King seems content to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Levi King dominated that round.
That's time! King's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


King tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alan swivels and escapes.
Alan dips to his left and cracks King with an uppercut!
Alan tries to clinch up.
King lands a glancing blow to the side of Alan's head.
King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alan circles away.
King tries to clinch up.
Alan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from King.

Alan feints and as King raises his hands in defense, Alan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Alan advances position into side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
King manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
King is keen to just control but Alan is a slippery customer.
Alan won't allow King to pass to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Alan!
King cracks Alan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Alan is desperately trying to improve his position but King has a good base and remains in mount.
King wants to control the pace but Alan is squirming around nicely.
King is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Alan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
King scores with a couple of good head shots there.
King landing strikes, looking to finish!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King with a couple of short strikes.
King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
King lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Alan hang on?
The referee warns Alan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Alan is breathing heavily.
Alan is wriggling around trying to escape.
King looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Alan tries to lock up and control but King gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Levi King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

King has control of Alan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Alan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King prevents Alan from getting the reversal.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
King scoring with strikes but Alan is staying in there.
Alan is trying to escape the mount.
King lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Alan is bucking up trying to escape but King cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The referee warns Alan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

King working for a guillotine from mount but Alan is in no mood to give up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

King working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Alan looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by King! Submission of the night perhaps?

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Levi King!
