Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ralfie Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darko Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darko Vader told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ralfie Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Darko Vader! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vader stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vader wants it to stay on the feet. A little jabbing left from Vader on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Martin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Martin with a poor takedown and Vader counters with a stiff right hand. Martin with a poor takedown and Vader counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralfie Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Martin shoots in for a takedown but Vader shows good takedown defense. Martin misses with a takedown attempt and Vader makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Vader keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Vader looks like he wants to counter punch here. Vader darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Martin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vader is fending him off so far but Martin persists. Nope, Vader circles away and we're back to standing. Vader looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Vader looks like he wants to counter punch here. Martin shoots in for a takedown but Vader shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Martin is breathing heavily. Martin goes for a double leg but Vader avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vader continues to drive forward. Martin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vader tries to avoid it but Martin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vader to the ground. Vader escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Vader throws out a counter right but Martin avoids it with no problem. Martin shoots in and drives through. Vader sprawls well.

Martin had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Vader stuffs a takedown. Vader scores with a decent looking hook. We've been informed that Vader has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Martin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vader defends well and Martin ends up having to push Vader into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Martin shoots in looking for a takedown but Vader manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Martin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Martin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Vader works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Martin looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Vader darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Martin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vader finds it's way round the side to connect with Martin's head. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Martin. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Martin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vader defends it nicely.
