Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Erick Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Oly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Erick Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack Oly! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos fails with a takedown attempt. Santos is breathing heavily. Oly shoots in but Santos avoids the takedown attempt easily. Santos has been working on his boxing with his coaches at All Time Wrestling - 12 ELITE COACHES in the buildup to the fight. A looping hook to the body misses from Oly. Santos does a little dance to reset his feet. Oly shoots in and drives through. Santos sprawls well. Oly with a lazy takedown attempt and Santos counters with a left and a right that stings Oly. Erick Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Oly. Oly tries for a takedown but Santos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Santos gets tackled into the cage by Oly. Oly maintains the clinch. Oly slowing the pace effectively. Oly pulls Santos into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oly has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oly will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Oly thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Oly looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Oly looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Oly has Santos pulled in close to control his posture. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Oly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Oly wants to take a breather but Santos is having none of it. Oly throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oly controlling the action here. Let's hope that Oly has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It looks like Oly might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Oly is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oly thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Santos srikes from the bottom but he's lost position and has given up his back.
Oly is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Oly tries to get the hooks in deep but Santos pushed the leg off. Oly throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Oly punches Santos on the ear. Will Oly go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Oly looking to break Santos's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Santos remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Oly will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Oly is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Oly tries to keep control of the position but Santos is staying busy. Oly working for a choke but Santos is defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oly is persistently looking for the submission but Santos is defending it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Oly dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Oly has a takedown stuffed. Oly fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Santos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Oly counters by moving into the clinch. Oly displaying some good clinch control by pressing Santos up against the cage. Oly working Santos over with knees to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oly tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Santos avoids it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oly pulls Santos into guard.
Oly throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Oly utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Oly is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Oly seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Santos is looking to pass into half guard but Oly pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Oly is in guard. Oly is in close to Santos's body, working some short punches and elbows. Oly works a leg free and moves into half guard. Santos looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos is looking for a sweep. Oly is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Oly decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Oly tries to score a power double leg takedown but Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oly somewhat. Erick Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Oly. Santos tries to keep at a distance but Oly has taken the fight into the clinch. Oly manages to break the clinch.
Oly closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Santos to the mat! Santos manages to get full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos is looking to stand up but Oly isn't so interested in that idea. Santos is looking to stand back up but Oly counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Santos. Santos pushes Oly off looking to stand but Oly dives back in and keeps control.
Santos is defending against the submission attempts here by Oly.
Santos kicks off Oly and gets to his feet. Santos misses with a double jab.
Oly fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Santos avoids it really well and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos feints a jab promting Oly to slip. Santos then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Oly slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Santos throws a nice looking combination but Oly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Oly gets in close and instigates a clinch. Oly jumps into guard, dragging Santos to the mat.
Santos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Santos with a flurry of punches that miss. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Oly controlling the position. Oly is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Oly lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Oly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Santos sets himself, and Oly steps forward looking for the clinch! Santos avoids it this time. Oly throws a right and a left that Santos avoids nicely. Oly will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Santos misses with a combination
and Oly counters by moving into the clinch. Come on Oly - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Oly is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Santos pulls him back up using the underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oly successfully pulls guard.
Santos trying to move into half guard but instead Oly has managed to sweep! Santos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Santos wants to hit a switch here but Oly passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Santos there! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos is looking to improve his position but Oly isn't that keen on the idea. Oly trying to control but Santos is having none of it. Oly manages to capitalize on a mistake by Santos to take his back! Oly is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Santos knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Santos for a finish. Oly throwing wild punches that miss their target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Santos tries to escape but Oly has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Oly working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Santos defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard. Jack Oly has got the better of the ground game so far. Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oly swivels though and keeps the full guard. Oly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Oly is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Santos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oly takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Oly stands up and beckons Santos to join him on the feet. Oly fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Erick Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Oly. Horrible takedown attempt by Santos or perhaps it was just good defense by Oly, which made it look bad. Santos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oly tries to counter by closing the distance. Oly darts in looking for a takedown but Santos gets double underhooks and turns Oly into the cage. Santos misses with a series of wild punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oly throws a nice head kick!
Santos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Erick Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Santos shoots in and drives through. Oly sprawls well. Oly fails with the takedown. As Oly looks to move away, Santos throws a big counter combo bu Oly just gets out of the way. Erick Santos is winning the standup battle so far. Oly gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Erick Santos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oly keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Santos's efforts to push away. Santos tries to work over Oly's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Oly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Oly winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
