Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Delacruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Nutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Nutz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastian Delacruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Nutz!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Delacruz clinches.
Nutz tries to break the clinch but Delacruz is controlling the position.

Nutz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nutz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Delacruz pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nutz sizes up Delacruz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Delacruz tries to keep at a distance but Nutz has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nutz misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Nutz tries to throw a body punch but Delacruz avoids it by throwing Nutz back against the cage.

Nutz wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Delacruz has him pressed against the cage.
Delacruz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Delacruz is struggling to control the position.
Delacruz jumps guard but Nutz stands there with Delacruz around his waist. Delacruz gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Nutz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nutz tries for a takedown but Delacruz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Delacruz tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Nutz manages to circle out of the way.
Sebastian Delacruz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Nutz.

Nutz tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Delacruz's elbow.

That was a close round but I would say that Sebastian Delacruz will probably get the nod.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
