The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr jabs at Cirkunov's body. Kerr scores with a nice head shot. Kerr digs a good body shot into Cirkunov's ribs. Kerr fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Kerr throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nice uppercut there from Kerr. Cirkunov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kerr struggling a bit here. Cirkunov swings around for an armbar but Kerr sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cirkunov's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cirkunov is looking to stand back up but Kerr counters by passing into half guard. That sent Cirkunov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kerr scores with a hook to the body. Cirkunov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kerr lands a jab to Cirkunov's midsection. Cirkunov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kerr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. And that's the end of the fight! Benjamin Kerr showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kerr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
