The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watagi throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Watagi moves to clinch but La Grande breaks away
and La Grande counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Watagi tries to roll over but La Grande keeps him under control.
Watagi keeping hold of La Grande's head, controlling as best he can.
La Grande works his way into full mount!
Watagi is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
La Grande thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Watagi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with La Grande. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
