Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Branden Wooster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mongolia Heed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wooster comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu-Jitsu Song. Heed is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gentlelman. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Branden Wooster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mongolia Heed! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Wooster is trying hard to land a takedown here. Heed sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Heed changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Heed looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Wooster is trying to get back to full guard. We've been hearing good reports from Wooster's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Wooster regains full guard. Nicely done. Wooster not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wooster looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wooster can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Heed controls the pace. Wooster wants to sweep here but Heed controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heed working some strikes from top position. Wooster avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wooster has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Heed postures up.
Wooster escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Heed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wooster is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Heed is aware though and is defending well. Heed must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Heed is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Wooster is looking for a triangle but Heed pushes his legs off easily.
Heed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wooster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wooster trying to keep a closed guard but Heed is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Heed is stalling in the full guard. Wooster looking to hit a scissor sweep but Heed is one step ahead there. Heed controls from within his opponent's guard. Wooster keeping moving, preventing Heed from controlling successfully. Wooster working a defensive guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Heed working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Wooster's head. Wooster escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Heed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wooster lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Heed can do anything to dispel that myth. Heed looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wooster trying to control but Heed is working from the bottom. Wooster drops back looking for a leg! Heed is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Heed manages to kick Wooster off! Wooster jumps back into Heed's guard. Wooster trying to control the position from guard on top but Heed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooster is pushing down on Heed's leg trying to pass to half guard. Heed is fighting to maintain full guard but Wooster has managed to sneak the leg through. Heed is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Heed is defending against the submission attempts here by Wooster.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Heed won't allow Wooster to pass to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Branden Wooster dominated that round. That's time! Wooster's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Heed scores with a takedown into Wooster's guard. Heed lands a couple of digs. Wooster looking to hit a scissor sweep but Heed is one step ahead there. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wooster is on top in guard.
Wooster drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wooster jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Wooster wants to pass the guard but Heed is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heed tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wooster trying to control but Heed is working from the bottom. Wooster tries to free his leg and advance position but Heed is retaining full guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Heed shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wooster is trying to defend but Heed finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wooster is looking to control Heed's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wooster avoid being mounted? Heed missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Branden Wooster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooster moves into full guard.
Heed scoring with punches to the head and body. Wooster is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Heed throws a big elbow that misses. Wooster working a defensive guard here.
Heed throwing strikes but missing. Heed wants to control from the top but Wooster keeps moving. Wooster is trying to keep Heed in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wooster preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Heed controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Heed lands a couple of decent looking shots. Wooster pulls Heed in close to prevent any damage. Wooster looking for a sweep. Not yet Wooster, not yet. Heed trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Heed fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wooster misses with a hook. Heed shoots in and gets a takedown into Wooster's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooster looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Heed is defending well. Wooster quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Heed has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wooster celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
