The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrakov shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunt sprawls well. He's pushed Petrakov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hunt has Petrakov up against the cage in a clinch.
Hunt misses with a hook from the clinch.

Hunt drags the fight down to the ground.
Petrakov won't allow Hunt to get back to his feet.

Petrakov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Petrakov shoots in but no luck this time.
Denver Hunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Petrakov.

Petrakov clinches up with Hunt and pushes him back against the cage.
Hunt throws a head punch that misses.
Hunt misses with a hook from the clinch.
Hunt pulls guard effortlessly.

Petrakov stops Hunt from standing up.
Hunt wriggles free and stands up.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Petrakov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hunt defends well and Petrakov ends up having to push Hunt into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hunt lands a head kick!
Hunt scores with a head kick.
Petrakov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hunt as Petrakov tries to tie him up.
Hunt misses with a hook from the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hunt creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Hunt misses with a punch on the inside.
Hunt scores with a shoulder strike.
Petrakov wants to take the fight to the mat but Hunt manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Hunt blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hunt lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Petrakov is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Hunt fails to pull guard.
Hunt misses with a punch on the inside.
Petrakov breaks the clinch.

Petrakov closes the distance and pushes Hunt back into the cage.
Hunt has a couple of punches blocked by Petrakov.
Petrakov breaks the clinch.
Petrakov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hunt is trying to stand up here but Petrakov is controlling him well.
Hunt is pressing down on Petrakov's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hunt has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Petrakov doesn't defend quickly enough and Hunt has managed to lock this one up! Can Petrakov escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hunt on a fantastic submission victory.
