Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guy Hanes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Rems (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rems has chosen rock n roll to the world as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ryan Rems enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Guy Hanes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Rems! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanes shoots in for a takedown but Rems shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hanes takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rems lands a body shot.
Rems's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rems duly obliges. Rems looks to land a combination. Hanes sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Hanes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Rems goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rems misses with the combination.
Rems lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hanes at a distance.
Rems lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rems. Rems ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Good standup being displayed there by Rems as he connects with a hook. Rems throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hanes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rems scores with a one two! Hanes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Rems moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Rems scores with a three punch combo!
Hanes has Rems up against the ropes in a clinch.
Rems can't break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rems wants to break free but Hanes has control.
Rems is defending well against a takedown attempt. Hanes is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guy Hanes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rems breaks from the clinch.
Nice body punch from Rems. Rems tries to bum rush Hanes with a series of wild strikes but Hanes uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rems scores with a sloppy right hand. Hanes should have avoided that one. Hanes fails to land the takedown. Hanes pushes Rems up against the ropes in a clinch. Hanes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rems just stands there and leans against the ropes. Hanes jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rems walks away with a smile on his face. Hanes gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Hanes is breathing heavily. A right-left combo lands from Rems. Rems wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Rems closes the distance and lands a one-two. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hanes closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hanes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rems is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hanes tries to score a body lock takedown but Rems shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Hanes stops a takedown attempt from Rems.
Hanes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rems just stands there and leans against the ropes. Rems is looking to break free of the clinch but Hanes has double underhooks. Rems prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rems pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rems throws a one two combo.
Hanes moves into the clinch. Rems is trying to force a seperation but Hanes has the dominant position. Hanes has Rems pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hanes pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Rems tumbling to the mat - Hanes dives into Rems's guard. Hanes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rems wants to stand and escape but Hanes is having none of it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hanes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Rems wants to sweep here but Hanes controlling him for the moment. Hanes forces his way into half guard. Rems wants to improve his position but Hanes is controlling well.
Hanes passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rems! Rems is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Hanes has control of Rems's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rems regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rems defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hanes. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rems is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hanes working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Rems looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Hanes! Submission of the night perhaps?
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Guy Hanes! In defeat, Ryan Rems stepped up to the mic, saying 'rock n roll to the world'.
