Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vic Kaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicky Cannon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vic Kaos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nicky Cannon!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Cannon.
Cannon throws a head kick but Kaos moves out of range.
Cannon fails to land the takedown.
Cannon fails with the takedown.
Kaos misses with a head kick.

Kaos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cannon's guard.
Kaos has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cannon is proving hard to escape from.
Kaos trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Cannon is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kaos is controlling him.

Cannon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kaos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cannon working for a triangle but Kaos defends it easily.

Cannon looking for a guillotine here but Kaos defends easily.
Cannon looks gassed!

Cannon throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Kaos stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Cannon throws a head kick but Kaos moves out of range.
Nicky Cannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kaos throws a series of punches but Cannon moves out of range.

Kaos clinches up with Cannon and pushes him back against the cage.
Cannon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kaos smiles and moves away.
Vic Kaos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicky Cannon.
Kaos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cannon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kaos misses with a head kick.
Cannon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cannon tries to clinch but Kaos moves out of range.

Kaos gets a clinch.
Kaos is looking to break free of the clinch but Cannon has double underhooks.
Kaos wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Cannon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kaos has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Cannon decides to pull guard.
Kaos won't allow Cannon to sweep him here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Cannon has his feet on Kaos's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Kaos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cannon, pushing him back against the cage.
Kaos is trying to break the clinch but Cannon has him pressed against the cage.
Kaos avoiding damage as Cannon throws knees to the body.
Cannon throws a knee to the head but misses.

Kaos breaks from the clinch.
Cannon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cannon prevents Kaos from breaking the clinch.
Cannon is trying to break the clinch but Kaos has him pressed against the cage.

Kaos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cannon slips a straight right by Kaos.
Cannon shoots and misses
and Kaos counters with a three punch combo that has Cannon backing up. Cannon nods at Kaos to acknowledge the strikes.

Kaos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kaos lands in his opponent's guard.
Kaos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cannon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kaos trying to control the position from guard on top but Cannon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Cannon is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Cannon lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Cannon gets a trip takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cannon works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kaos flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Cannon with shots to the head and body - Kaos looks very uncomfortable down there.
Cannon is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Cannon working for a guillotine from mount but Kaos is in no mood to give up.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cannon working for a submission but Kaos is keeping him at bay.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cannon moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kaos has worked his arm free - good work by Kaos!
Kaos wants to control but Cannon postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vic Kaos will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Cannon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Cannon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cannon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kaos wants to control but Cannon is having none of it.

Cannon avoids the attempt from Kaos to control.
Kaos really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cannon stands up from mount. Strange move.
Kaos throws a nice looking combination but Cannon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cannon lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Cannon shoots and misses

and Kaos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Cannon misses with a punch to the body.
Cannon unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kaos lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Kaos has a couple of punches blocked by Cannon.
Kaos is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cannon.

Cannon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vic Kaos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cannon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Horrible takedown by Cannon or perhaps it was just good defense by Kaos which made him look bad.
Kaos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cannon tries to clinch but Kaos is having none of it.

Cannon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A head kick from Cannon lands but Kaos takes it in his stride.

Cannon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cannon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Cannon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Cannon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cannon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kaos pinned against the cage. Kaos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Cannon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Cannon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
It looks like Cannon is going to stand back up.
Kaos looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cannon lands a nice short elbow.
Cannon tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kaos knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Cannon is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cannon trying to pass the guard but Kaos defending well.

Cannon tries to stand but can't do so whilst Kaos controls his leg.
Kaos has a hand on Cannon's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Cannon takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Cannon stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Cannon closes the distance looking to clinch

and Kaos counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kaos.

Kaos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cannon misses with a head kick.

Kaos clinches up with Cannon and pushes him back against the cage.
Kaos is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Cannon with an attempt at a knee that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nicky Cannon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Kaos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

so Kaos counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Cannon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kaos gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Kaos wants to get back to striking at distance but Cannon won't allow it.

Cannon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kaos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Cannon turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Kaos tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kaos is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Cannon is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Kaos taking shots to the head.

Cannon gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Kaos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kaos is putting a hurting on Cannon here, landing some big shots from side control.

Kaos working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Sloppy strikes there by Kaos.
Cannon gets back to half guard.
Kaos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cannon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cannon makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Cannon fails with the takedown

and Kaos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kaos wants to break free but Cannon has control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cannon connects with a knee to the head.
Cannon taking a breather.
Kaos wants to break the clinch but can't.

Cannon successfully pulls guard.
Nicky Cannon has got the better of the ground game so far.

Kaos stands and steps away. Cannon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kaos throws a series of punches but Cannon avoids them all with ease.
Kaos swats away the attempt to clinch by Cannon.
Kaos wants to clinch up but Cannon keeps it at a distance.
Kaos connects with a looping right hand.
A combination from Kaos does no damage.
Kaos stuffs the takedown attempt from Cannon. Cannon gets slowly back to his feet.
Cannon lands a head kick!
Kaos misses with a head kick.
Kaos fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cannon pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kaos throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Cannon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cannon misses with a takedown attempt

and Kaos counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cannon's guard now.

Cannon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kaos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kaos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kaos gets to his feet. Cannon looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Cannon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Kaos counters by clinching up.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cannon.
Cannon prevents the takedown attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice body punch from Cannon.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A nice right hand lands inside from Cannon.
Cannon lands an elbow that stopped Kaos in his tracks for a moment.
Kaos wants to stall.
Cannon throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Cannon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kaos fights it off and pushes away nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
Vic Kaos showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kaos has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
