Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julisz Michal Kasperski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kullervo Koljatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koljatti is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Label Society - Fire It Up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 19 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Julisz Michal Kasperski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kullervo Koljatti! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kasperski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Koljatti circles away quickly and effectively. Koljatti moves into range and clinches up with Kasperski. Koljatti tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Koljatti tries a body shot but Kasperski blocks it.
Koljatti breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Koljatti fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kasperski on the side of the head. Koljatti closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Koljatti misses with a short punch on the inside. Koljatti lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kasperski backwards. Koljatti pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Koljatti misses with a series of wild punches.

and Kasperski counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Koljatti! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kasperski throwing shots but Koljatti is blocking nicely. Koljatti gets full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kasperski loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kasperski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Koljatti trying to control the position here. Kasperski wanted to stand there but Koljatti had control of the position. Our spies down at at Ironfist MMA inform us that Koljatti has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Kasperski throws a big elbow that misses. Koljatti uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Koljatti throws a series of punches but Kasperski avoids them all with ease. Koljatti connects with a body shot. Koljatti misses with a straight left. Koljatti loads up on a big right hand but Kasperski slips the punch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Koljatti tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Koljatti pushes Kasperski back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koljatti tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Koljatti escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kasperski seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Kasperski throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kasperski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Koljatti circles away quickly and effectively. Koljatti rushes Kasperski and presses him up against the cage. Koljatti working aggressively here.
The referee is keeping an eye on Koljatti - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Koljatti breaks from the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Koljatti on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koljatti avoids a wild elbow strike from Kasperski. Koljatti has Kasperski pressed against the cage, preventing Kasperski from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kasperski tries a body shot but Koljatti blocks it.
Kasperski misses with a hook to the ribs.
Koljatti manages to break the clinch.
Kasperski lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Koljatti can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Kasperski and Koljatti drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Kasperski.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Julisz Michal Kasperski! Julisz Michal Kasperski bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
