Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between bob lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thorsten Taunsynd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taunsynd has chosen PRIDE THEME as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Taunsynd.
Taunsynd tries to clinch but lee moves out of range.
lee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Taunsynd as he avoids it easily.
lee tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Taunsynd's waist but Taunsynd gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing lee off to one side.
Taunsynd should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Taunsynd.
Taunsynd fails to land with a series of punches.
Taunsynd throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Taunsynd tries to control the position but he's not in luck - lee easily slips into full mount!

lee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Taunsynd is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But lee has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from lee!

lee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Taunsynd had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. lee is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Taunsynd Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take lee's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Taunsynd is looking to control lee but lee is wriggling around and keeping busy.
