Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kid Kulafu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wang Zhi!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulafu fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zhi sprawls well initially but Kulafu persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Zhi pushes Kulafu off looking to stand but Kulafu dives back in and keeps control.
Kulafu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zhi's head.

Zhi is looking to control Kulafu's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zhi avoid being mounted?
Zhi gets back to full guard.
Zhi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kulafu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kulafu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kulafu is working Zhi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kulafu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zhi's head.
Kulafu stands up over Zhi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Kulafu arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Zhi's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kid Kulafu!
